Amy has been practicing with our firm since 2012 and was promoted to partner in 2016.  She has nearly 15 years of public accounting experience providing a wide range of tax services to small- and medium-sized businesses.  Amy has extensive knowledge in the area of corporate taxation and ASC 740, including experience in diverse industries such as manufacturing, wholesaling/distributing, renewable energy, real estate, and professional practices, among others.  She has substantial experience with planning for corporate mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and international operations.  Amy also provides valuation services to owners of closely held businesses for gift tax, estate tax, and transactional purposes.  In addition, she works with our other tax professionals to provide international tax planning and compliance services to individuals, including those participating in the voluntary disclosure program.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.
